Colliders and Particle Accelerators
The need for understanding the nature in the micro states has always been the driving force for the development of particle detectors and particle accelerators. A remarkable achievement of particle physics is in 2012, the existence of the elementary particle Higgs Boson was confirmed by the two particle detectors in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Many important unanswered questions of the Standard Model of Particle Physics and probable solutions will be discussed in this quantum physics conference. Recent advances in particle physics from the detection of new particles to everyday applications will be covered in this session.
